    Yea we tried that first. The wiring would not go up and over whatever controls was back in there. If it did it would be long enough. And I couldn't pull them through because of the switch on the end. Really seems the cowl needs to come off.

    Need to repace ignition switch on Ford 5000 diesel. How do you get the cowl off to get to it? I took the switch out hoping wires were long enough to get to the terminals but no go.
