    Would you happen to know how much tension the F crossover spring should have? The one on there is a heavy pull. Seems a bit odd. Very rigid.

    Thank you for this great piece of info. No I have not adjusted D and C on the E shaft but plan to very soon. This is great info. My spring F is very high tension but long enough. Not sure if it’s correct. I’ll soon find out. Will also measure the A and B.

    I think im going to heed this advice and split the casings and retrieve the gear piueces and go with a 12v starter so its less stressed when cranked over. First I need to get it running and get it to an area to perform this kind of work. thanks for the advice.

You can use a screwdriver inserted into the hole and feel the piston up too. just be sure the exhaust valve isnt open in that cylinder, you would be 180 degress off.
