    New Tire Mounting

Are there any tricks to getting a new tubeless tire to expand out and seat on a rim? I've got an old Coats 1010 changer. Most older tubeless tires catch the rim fine with my changer. Thanks

Re: 13 home Improvements That Are Illegal

I don't know how you found that, but do yourself a favor and don't go back there. The folks that wrote that? Can't dress themselves or wipe their own...(fill in the blank), and therefore can't stand that others can. Good Lord. Mark

    3020 hyd

The gauge for the transmission if fluctuating up and down. I want to check the trans filter screen. Do I have to drain the whole rear end to do this? It is an early powershift tractor.

O.T. primer bulb on grass trimmer

I have the same weedeater, experienced the same problem. Mine turned out to be a bad diaphragm in the carb. The carbs on these are not known for reliability and are not compatible with ethanol. I think you can get a new carb for $25

    aftermarket spin on oil filter

I bought a spin on oil filter adapter from Wix for mine. Even though the bypass filter doesn"t filter much I"ve always felt it could use more filtering. It would help extend the life of these engines. I know a guy, not sure how he did it, but he done something that he could use a Fram PH-8A on his.

    bought another 8n today!

Mine was doing that, turned out to be a cracked block. Everyone says antifreeze has oil in it from the factory. You can not see oil in today"s antifreeze. Maybe before my time that was true.

    Bad Day for my 8N

I have Electronic ignition on my 8N as well. It gets wet, dies. Nature of the beast. Dunno why or how moisture upsets it. Makes plowing snow difficult since I have to wait for the storm to be over instead of staying on top of it. Not sure if a side mount wouldn"t have the same issue or not.

    Plowing snow question

If its a light snow, I pull. Heavy snow, I push backwards. Thanks.

    Plowing snow question

I forgot which way to do this. I"m pulling the blade through the snow on gravel. Do I want my top link lengthened or shortened to change the angle on the mull board for ease of plowing?

    Ford 8N overheating

Overheating, dark & oily residue in the radiator....sounds like a headgasket or as I personally experienced a cracked block. Water pump lube will be barely noticeable to the eye.

    OT 'cuda

There are some aftermarket kits to turn a new Challenger into a Cuda. Also Chrysler is looking to replace the new Challenger with a Cuda in 2014.

    2N oil in radiator

I had the same issue, turned out to be a cracked block. It had several cracks at number 3 & 4. They do not add the much oil to the antifreeze for corrosion protection/pump lubrication.
