    Towable man lift

    I want to buy a towable man lift. Should I buy gas, diesel or electric? I would use it occasionaly (but I know the neighbors would use it). I'm 84 and don't trust ladders anymore. Thank you.

    JD 520

    Having trouble with a JD 520. As long as I keep the starter pedal down, it runs, but when I let up on the starter, It stops. Sounds to me like an electrical problem, but I haven't found the problem yet. Any ideas? Oh yes! Lately when I hit the starter, nothing happens. I have to hit the starter...

    I'm gaining oil in the crankcase. Why? Is it hyd. oil or fuel? The tractor was just split because the PTO clutch needed replaced. Thanks for your time & knowledge.

    I have a very early JD 1 row horse drawn corn planter. It has a cast iron lid (4 leg deer) on the corn hopper, galv. fertilizer hopper & large iron drive wheel. Does anybody have a guess as to the model number? Thank you very much

    jd 520 PTO

    Has anyone ever had the PTO coupling (#19) go bad? It appears that may be my problem. I've removed the first reduction gear case thinking a bearing might be bad, but couldn't find anything wrong. I hear a (grinding) noise when I engage the PTO shift lever & the PTO does not turn. Any suggestions...
