    I agree with covering the seat to block direct sunlight. I am a big fan of Meguiars 57 Marine/RV Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Protectant. I have been using it on all my vinyl seats for over 20 years.

    OT: 12v air compressor?

    I have a Husky that I bought at Home Depot for $24. Its rated at 150 PSI and does a good job of airing tires, but its primary use is to run my homemade foam marker system when spraying. For 3 years its run hours at a time without failure.
