    Does that have bale tension for both sides of the bale? Maybe they are unbalanced? Are the hay dogs worn out? Spring broken?

    You should make way more hay than you would need for 4 goats. Sell the excess hay. But like Kyhayman said, on the economical side, payback would be pretty ugly.

    On the rock guard is a removalable part called a ledger plate. This is the other half of the scissor action. The sections(the knives)on the moving bar cut against the ledger plate.     How to tighten drive belt on Case IH 1300 mower

    Tried the belt dressing. A very temporary fix. I ended up getting a new belt. $43 and change. No more belt slipage. Now I still have to get a manual. thanks for all the suggestions.

    How to tighten drive belt on Case IH 1300 mower

    I would have to remove the cover/guard to move the bracket. The idler pulley slides up and down in a slot in a piece of flat stock which parallels a slot in the guard which is bolted to the frame. I am thinking the idler bushing on the bottom side would work better as another idler pulley.

    I have a Case IH 1300 3 point 9' sickle bar mower. I cannot get the belt tight enough to stop the sickle from slipping on contact with the grass. Pulley is as far down as the slot will allow. The bottom idler bushing is new. I see no other adjustments. The belt is in good shape. What is the...
