    Round baler belt replacement - Best place to buy

    Do a search for Hesston baler belts and you will see the major players in baler belt sales. The OEM belt for a 540 Hesston is 7 x 366 Chevron 3 ply with clipper lacing. Alligator lacing is available.The best price I have found on an OEM belt is $185 each including freight.

    Corn head grease will work fine if it has the EP additive in it. The best thing is EP-00 grease. Rhino uses this OEM in most of their gear boxes now.

    The Steel top works fine with people with smooth fields. The end support will break if used on a non-float hydraulic system because of the weight. You can put a Lely style cover on the Vermeer. The extra weight does not affect the cutterbar.
