    F2 headers

Don't think so. Maybe someone else here will chime in. We have run F's and F2's for 25 years - I know an F will work on an F2. There might be a spacer that you could use - any way to measure the G head? Forest at Oakley Combines could answer you pretty quickly. They are in Oxford, NC.

    Chaffer needed for F2 Gleaner

Have a soybean special F2 that needs a new Chaffer - I have replaced this part 2x in the past 5 years. First replacement was new made, heavy duty (square tubing - vinyl inserts for louvre wires) from Oakleys in Northern NC. Had Straw walker break and dropped down into the chaffer. It ate my new...

Replacing the traction drive belt on a F2

Take the 6 bolts off the face of the pulley, pry the clutch pulley in (both sides are spring loaded) and the belt will slip in between the pulley and the left wheel differential. Or - when you pry in the pulleys just take the lower bolt off - if you line it up with a ballancing slot you will...

A bad ending to a good day

Had a similar experience this past Tues trying to finish up before rain got us. Driver took off to get truck under sheltor when rain started. We were augering in bin and he didn't wait to lower bed of dumptruck all the way. Corn shifted and he dumped 150 bushels all the way around the barn! Took...

    D10 battery HELP!!

Bought a d10 awhile back and finally got it home. Previous owner removed battery and couldn't remember whether it was 6v or 12v. Service manual that I bought from Tractor Supply says tractor could be either depending on year made. Does anyone know how to determine if this thing is 6v or 12v? It...

    F2 Cleaning shoe

I fought this issue all through corn season. I broke 2 shaker shafts before I figured out the rubber bushings were the problem (BTW new shafts are over $450! Used were $200). Oakley's has the replacement bushings for ~ $90. I made a lock ring to go on the ends of the shaft for mine, so I won't...

    2013 Season finally over!

Finished cutting soybeans Monday night (just before the rain and cold weather this week). F2 developed a coolant leak shortly after starting. Smoked like a freight train for last few acres! This has been a tough year for farming in NC. Half my farm is low-land and half Va Sandy loam. Corn did...

It's a JD 45 square back that I bought to restore several years ago. With my Gleaners, I don't have time to work on the JD. I'm willing to negotiate just to get it out of the shed!

    Combine height?

We just hauled a F2 gleaner home yesterday - it was 135 inches tall, 118 inches wide (outside tire to outside - front tires). With a 13ft grain head you should be ok (will be tight) - Four row corn head no problem

    4020 load control shaft help

When you replaced the load shaft seals did you install them with the flat (wide) side out or in? I have worked on a JD 4020 load shaft leak about 4 times over the past three years! Turns out the seals were installed backwards originally. Also another common problem is that folks use a...

    Sprayer Tank Repair

Fiberglass resin and matt will work for a permanent fix. I have done this a couple of times. You may have to put several layers on to completely seal the leak.
