I don't have any brakes on my 4300.I have pedal but won't stop the tractor. That is all three brake pedals the left, right, and master. Are they hydraulic brakes? I can't seem to find a master cylinder. Are they simple to adjust them? Thanks Howard

    Steering Gear Lube

The three on mine is the plug to pour gear oil in it and it is on top of the housing the zerk fitting is next to it closer to the motor. The level is on the side.I guess I was so confused as to why there was a plug and a grease fitting. So happy Gene cleared it up for us I still want to know...

    Steering Gear Lube

Thanks Gene, I now know why there is both ways to fill it. Do I leave the level plug out until the gear lube starts coming out then use the grease gun to top it off. I suppose I grease the bearing first before assembling it. Howard

The old stuff that came out was a mixture of grease and liquid. The stuff smelled bad but it was prob. in there...

super A frt wheel seals and wheel bearings

1948 Farmall Super A I have a 48 super A that I am putting front wheel bearings and grease seals in. I need to know how to take the seal and other felt washers out. I have the hub off and cleaned all the old watery grease from it. The races I guess use a drift punch to remove them but the seals...
