OT - legal question on a lien
You need to look into filing an affidavit "one and the same" - it's available on the web, get it signed and notarized and provide to the bank/title company - they may even have the form for you. FWIW - liens are picked up by name at the recorders office/courthouse so you really have no recourse...- hcf106
