    you want what is typically labeled (in WI at least) as "off road" fuel. It is dyed red and is for off road use only... tractors, generators, etc if DOT finds the red fuel in an on road truck, there are big fines involved.

    the biggest part of the production side of things is based on electric consumption in manufacturing. If the manufacturer is using "green" electricity, then there is much less impact than one that uses traditional power from fossil fuel electric production. maybe this will help explain things...
