snowplow
I have a Sauder snow plow on my 8N which works fairly well (far better than the rear mount I was using). I would think the plow you have would work well, once you got it mounted on the tractor. You *will* need weight on the back of the tractor for it to work well tho.... Howard Sauder D7...- hfleming

Sauder front snow blade
Glad to have been of help. With good tires and rear weights, you should not have any problems. Rear weights are on my list of things to buy, just have to find a set when I can afford them.... Sauder front snow blade
I have an older version, Dozer blade D7 (just up and down). Pictures are at http://www.moosebird.net/ford_8n/SauderSnowPlow/index.html. I had to add weight to the back of the tractor for traction and control (I live on a very steep hill). Only problem I have run into with it was the dozer...- hfleming

Clutch Leg Snow Plowing
Your welcome! The one time I have tested it after I added the "J" straps, the front end of the tractor was starting to lift off the group while plowing. I did mean to leave more space in the bracket for it to move up before hitting the stops, but so far has not been a problem. Have not...- hfleming

Yes, a front blade works much better than a rear mounted one. I finally found a front blade in November last year, a Sauder B7 dozer blade. Got it mounted and ready for the first noticable snow fall we have had so far this year (8 inches). Worked far better than the rear mount blade that...- hfleming
