    JD 730 coolant drain plug at bottom of head stuck

    I had the same problem on my 41 B. I drilled a hole through the center of the plug and tapped it for a 1/8 taper pipe plug. I don't recall the size of the tap drill but check the chart for that. That doesn't fix the problem or get the stuck plug out but gets you by.

    We bought a DK45HST in 2011. The dealer told me they do have issues with the ignition switch. Sometimes mine acts up and I always have to hold it a certain way to start it. My brother bought a 2014 model and it has a different looking switch.

    You stated that you thought the pump has a priority valve built in. Actually the pump has two separate sets of gears in line on one shaft which pumps two separate flows. I don't know right now whether it is two separate pressures or not. Hlmillus
