Many thanks! I have the full compliment of seals as well as a new filter on the way. I have work travel this week and plan to change the filter this weekend when I return. I look forward to posting an update to help complete the circle and share the results later this weekend. -

Yes sir, there is a gasket in there and I plan on installing a new one along with a new filter and other seals. -

Ford 335 / 3600 Power steering
I have a Ford 335 (similar to a 3600). I was using the tractor and then fluid starting pushing out of the power steering breather cap. Then the power steering went. There are no leaks on the steering column. This was sudden with no steering shudder or hesitation. I have read several posts... -

Field cultivator hydraulic woes
I have a new to me IH 4600 field cultivator. When I raise it as soon as I leave off the hyd. Lever one side drifts down about 2". I moved the hoses to a different Port on the tractor. No change. G1000 coil wire
Just did a major overhaul on my Vista LP. Now it wants to burn the coil to distributor wire off when trying to start it. Purrs like a kitten when you do get it running but does seem to be charging to much at 50 amps. Did we hook something up wrong? Thanks for any ideas. Steve- S J P

Massey 35 steering woes
Just picked up a Massey 35 with the continental motor, guy told me that the power steering pump leaked... Normal problem I figured, bought the tractor and replaced the seal behind the gear, filled reservoir with fluid put the top on, fired her up.... Cycled the steering a few times... Just...- masseypat
