I wish NC would raise the rates for inspection stations, @ $12.75 for a safety and $15 for emissions its a lost leader. In the county I live in they did away with emission checks a few years ago I was stuck with a $6500 inspection system ( a $600 computer/printer with a $5900 program)- Hobo,NC

Yet another paint code question 8N….Sorry!
Yep for some reason that color does not show up well in a pix. That rim is the correct color, I love that color looking good. Fords Vermillion red I don't like its my tractor I paint the red IHC 2150 Rouge red it stays red and don't turn into a pumpkin.- Hobo,NC

8N keeps cranking had to disconnect battery
In this day and time poor quality would be the #1 suspect. Back in the day the #1 issue was a low/bad/failing battery. If it ever sticks its game on it will stick again. 3000 steering and hydraulic issues
You can completely disconnect the wires at the back of the instrument panel are disconnect the bulkhead connector under the hood that's what I would do. The instrument panel does need to be pulled back to get the fuel sender wire off the fuel sender, and take the tack cable off. You will need... -
