    lift arm question(s) '63 4000 4cyl

There are no right are left. I always put the implement side down and point inside. That will put the tractor side point up and away.

Still amazed with these old ford tractors

Curiosity and to prove I can often does not pay well. I got trapped between a bud and a seller the seller said it ran up until my bud called about it. He said it knocked off while backing out of his garage he looked at the points he did not see anything bad. The dist. cap was off I looked it...

    641 6 volt coil question

That's why I asked "What are the specs on each coil" They are all 12029 coils the A is the first revision what changed, calling it a 12V coil is not the answer. Revision Level: Moving up the alphabet (from A to B, C, etc.) often means the part was updated or revised by engineering.

What happened to pickups - part two

In my hood 150 miles from the beach I would never buy any vehicle that lived any of its life near a beach. The salt air are driving through a puddle of sea water it all it takes. This can be just as bad as a northern salt state. If you are ever near a beach when the air is misty you would...

Still amazed with these old ford tractors

My first N was a $500 non runner my mistake I got it running before I confirmed the price. Once I got it running and took a drive down the street the owner said $1200 its not negotiable . Moral of the story don't work for free on a tractor you are interested in.

    What happened to pickups??

Dawg, this is how the extreme left (bully) sees your personal choice. Its probably how they see a Christian southern redneck from NC. For the record that pix is not from my hood they will not let you hang a meter base on the side of a mobile home. Some things are better not said but they...

Compression Testing Dry Wet Marvel Mystery Oil 1951 Ford 8N

This why you add Acetone to ATF, that turns it into more of a solvent mix. I would classify MMO as more of a solvent than anything else. I don't think ATF alone would have been as effective on surface rust as MMO so MMO was a good call. The average DIY is not gonna pay for the good stuff to...
