    105 hyd leak

There are actually many seals/o-rings on the spool and the one giving you the problem is a very small one located on the detent spool. You can pull the spool out but be careful and not lose the detent balls. Put the seals on and reassemble and put grease on the detent balls so they don't fall...

    2-150

I just got a White 2-150 that runs out good and everything works. But the problem is a building collapsed on it and damaged the cab everything else is fine. What should I do find a different cab or make it an open station. I could go either way. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks

    2-155 with 5.9 Cummins

I installed a lot 5.9 into 2-135 and 2-155 and had no problems power wise and the customers were more then happy with the power and torque. They especially loved the fuel economy even compared to the 8.3. I installed 8.3 also but had the beat comments on the 5.9.

    500 inline pump swap

It is a direct swap onto the engine. You just time it with the inline pump method. You do have all the injection lines with it though for the rotary ones will not work, but the inline pump will bolt up to the existing injectors.

    JD 450 steering clutch

I am trying to remove the steering clutches from a older dry clutch 450. I know you have to pull the upper pinion shafts for the final drives to get to the innershaft for clutch removal. But what special tool do I need to pull them. I can not get anything to thread in. Is that a JD special...

Does anyone make a fiberglass replacement grill for the 1755 and up series instead of the heavy cast one that is found on the tractors.

    High Track Drive vs Low

I have worked on both the high drives and low drives LGP and if I was using it in deep wet soupy material I would definitely go with the high drive for it keeps most of final drive from the water/slop working in the worst part of it. It does not have as many final drive failures. Also the under...

    970 powershift removal

In order to pull the powershift clutch pack on Case 970 do you have to pull the cab like they say in the book or can you get the shift cover out with out doing it and what should I watch out for. The clutches are slipping and burnt that is why we are taking it out. Thank you

    SC Case late model

I just did one about a year ago where I too needed a sleeve for a newer SC and could not find one. I wound up having one made at a machine shop out of sleeve material that they cut down. Cost me $75.00 but well worth it. That is the route you might have to take.

    JD 350C Steering clutches

Does any body have the height dimension for the steering clutch fingers for an assembled pack. I cannot seem to find that setting in the book. It does say to use a JD special gauge but I do not have that. There must be another way to set it. THANK YOU>

I would rather be working on the 1370

I am an old construction mechanic and the worst job was doing undercarriage especially if they never used never seize. Your torch is your best friend and you still pray that do not twist off. When you reassembly use copper based never seize that is what even Cat recommends. For track rollers...

    My balls do not fit

I have a 1650 that I needed the lift arm balls for. I got some different ones that were from Agco that was a part number 105967A and they do not fit. The outside diameter is about 1/4 inch too big. So I tried some aftermarket ones and the same thing. I looked in the book and they do not show me...
