Puzzled by trailer lights not working

If you're using the adapter for Chevy, (Round, to 4 wire flat) they now have them with indicator lights, built in. Shows that the truck is all correct. (Kinda like the test light for home circuits) At least that would eliminate the truck, itself.

Schraam Model 62 looking for manuals, information

Schramm also made a pneumatic tractor, if I remember correctly. It looked a lot like a Farmall, but had a hugh breaker on the end. Had its own built in compressor on board. We used it to hammer out footings for a parking garage, in solid limestone. We did talk the engineers into raising all...

    2015 impala issues

Another known issue with this gen of Impala (Though not related to your problem) is the starter relay. Delayed start, or no crank, until a couple of tries later. Sometimes a few minutes. When I replaced it, it looked really burnt on the prongs. Use genuine GM. Parts guy said he sells a lot...

    I made it to retirement

The best part of being retired, is that an alarm clock no longer exist ! (Unless I have to catch a flight to the Carribean.) 30 years of 4:30 AM, was enough of early rising. As people have said, you'll soon wonder how you worked "work" into your days.

percent of posters actually are farming

I quit farming in 72, (along with my dad) and moved on to a "paying" job, construction. Now retired from that. Enjoying life, doing whatever I want.

    Forage wagon update.....

When we filled silo, it was still a coop type affair. Traveled from farm to farm, within the same group of farmers. Most wagons had hydraulic lifts, but ours didn't. We had end gates of the same design, but had "pull cables" attached, and had to have a dedicated "pull tractor" to drag the end...

    Not good

I remember a horrific story Randy posted a few years ago, about a wife with long hair, trying to help her husband out. Seems like she was either grinding feed, or unloading something. No mention of a guard or not.

Time to set the mouse traps again

I use the Tom Cat traps that look like cartoon style false teeth. Expensive, but very effective. No chance to steal bait. I use bacon pieces, with peanut butter smeared on the outside of the bacon. No toon, (or mouse) can resist.

    Universal fit parts

Years ago, we used "Midwest" aftermarket parts, for HD motorcycles. Couldn't afford OEM. Made in the land of "almost right." Common laugh, was "Cut, Beat, or Grind."

    GM trucks today.

My son has a rear engine Porsche, that doesn't have a dipstick to check the oil. Digital dash check only. Unbelievable. A lot of weird stuff on a motor that is under a hatch back.

I had a conversation with deepseek AI about pH

Yes. Humans stop using their brains. College kids use AI to write their term papers. When questioned about the subject later on, few knew hardly any facts on the subject. Some barely remembered the title.

Positive or negative ground sanity check

If it was hooked up wrong, it would melt the insulation on the light gauge coil wire. BTDT. Charging issue is probably something else, like a bad generator, or corroded terminals.

    Hit by a Drunk drivers

I settled wayyy to soon for a broken femur, back in 1986. I think her insurance company, bought off, or made a deal with my lawyer. I was young and naive. Still have major knee problems, from being in traction for 7 weeks. Don't be in any hurry to settle, especially with a broken bone.
