    Boiling gas

I had the same problem with my TO-20. I believe my problem was two parts. The first was my radiator fins were clogged. Try using a pressure washer and clean the fins from the engine side. The second part was my manifold was cracked. Give the manifold a good inspection and if there is any crack...

    Freshening up a TO-20

I pretty much finished up over the weekend. I still haven't tackled the wheels and tires yet. Here is a before and after pic. I installed the headlights after I took these pictures. Thanks again for all your help. I don't really have anyone close to go to when I run into...

    Tea 20 Electronic Problem

I could be the key switch. Maybe it is corroded and not making contact when you turn the key. I just put a generic on on my TO-20. I think I only spent $8.00.

    Ferguson TO20 lost spark

I got it running! It isn't running well but it runs. I just called it quits for tonight but I'm sure with some more tinkering I should have it running like a top in no time. Thanks for all your help.

    Ferguson TO20 lost spark

i'm glad to report that I now am getting spark. I reset the points with the guide on the lobe. I had been under the impression that they were to be set with the guide on the flat part of the cam. I had been doing it that way up until now. It is a wonder any of my equipment ran. However it...

    Ferguson TO20 lost spark

I believe I got the points set correctly but I will give them another look. I forgot to mention that I replaced the plugs and wires, cap, dust seal, and rotor. Every electrical component has been replaced except the distributor its self, the voltage regulator and the ammeter.

    Ferguson TO20 lost spark

I need some help with a TO20 that I am working on. Here is a little back ground. I drove the tractor into my garage to give it a good going over (see my other post "Freshing up a TO20") and have repaired and got it all back together. However now I have ran into a new issue. I have lost spark...

    Freshening up a TO-20

Removing the rear tires isn't something I am looking forward to but one is leaking calcium out of the valve stem pretty bad and it might be starting to rust through. I have been looking around on the forum here and it seems like I would be better off filling the tires with something less...

    1950 Ferguson TO20 wiring diagram.

I found this awhile ago when I rewired my 1950 TO20. My setup is a little different since I have a 4 wire alternator and a voltage regulator but this should get you in the ball park.

    Freshening up a TO-20

I still need to clean up the wiring some and take the wheels off to install the brakes. I will probably take the tires off the rims and blast and paint the wheels while I'm at it. I was hoping to fire it up last night but need to get new battery cables.

    Freshening up a TO-20

Things are starting to go back together. I'm waiting for the oil seals for the steering box to come in. Once I get them I'll be able to get the dash back together. I cleaned up the carb last night and rebuilt it with a new parts kit. I didn't realize there was a screen in the fuel inlet. The...

    Freshening up a TO-20

I got some nice weather here in western PA over the weekend and got the rest of the tractor painted. This was was my winter project but at this rate I'll have it done in time to plow snow. I was in too much of a hurry to get any after pics but I'll get some up as soon as it get some parts...

    Freshening up a TO-20

I am in the process of freshening up my Ferguson TO-20. I have had it now for about 3 years and it has served me well so far brush hogging, pulling my wood cart, and pushing snow. I have had to make some minor repairs to it since I have had it like cleaning the carb, rewiring, and a new...
