    Hi DickL; Wanted to let you know that I changed over to Fram PH 8 and Rotella 10 W 30.She smo9ked some at first, but then settled down and seem to run better. Thank you for the tip! Also, what spark plugs would you recommend for this 226 Gas wiih some wear on her? All the best Horvik

    Hey; A few weeks ago when I started my D-17 gas I had a loud rapping in it that lasted 5-10 seconds and then went away. Oil pressure seems okay. I thought a rod or something was bad.
