    first bulletin for bolt replacement is 02-06-01-035, have your dealer print you a copy as it has the part number for the bolts and proper torque sequence. the second bulletin number is PIP3193B that states the intake gasket was updated in 2004 and can be used in the prior years hope this helps

    MisterT, gm published a service bulletin on that engine in 2002 for oil consumption. the repair at that time was to replace the intake manifold bolts, then in 2005 a new bulletin was published to replace the intake gaskets with a improved design if the bolt replacement didn t correct the oil...
