Not sure I could not see anything but it certainly had something wrong with it maybe hairline crack? I be around as the property my daughter bought there were two old ford tractors they left. The first one is now running for $179.00 later and I cant believe how good it sounds for sitting for...- husker999

Thanks for the help ended up being the cap the previous owner had a cap in new package assumed it was good it was bad!- husker999

i have 6.3 volts to coil, tested coil with Ohm 1.4 and 9 when i jump the coil to the battery I can get weak spark but, it has new points, condensor, new battery, wiring appears to correct. if I try a new coil i assume it should be resisted since i don't see a resistor? are they suppose to have one?- husker999
