    Yes, Vermont requires all vehicles to get a yearly inspection at an authorized garage. I am not sure if Ag plates gets you out of an inspection or not though. I would say that they are supposed to be inspected. They do need to be licensed. I know of farmers who do not bother with inspections...

    Right, but the news story doesn't mention a tarp. What I was thinking is that if the outside of the car had been completely covered in tons of siliage that it would stop air from getting in the car and she would then only have what air was trapped inside.

    Need snow moving ideas

    A Ford 3000 should be plenty good enough to move 8 inches of snow. I know chains are pretty spendy when you don't have a lot of money, but they make it possible to go and do just about anything in the winter. I highly recommend the double ring chains.

    A plowday pretty much ruined.

    It wasn't worth it to me. Instead I came home and resumed work on my math final, which is what I really needed to be doing anyway. Like I said, I could think of better things to do with my free time than playing in that poo.

    I don't think your going to "burn out" a tractor on a 6 acre place. All that use is actually good for a tractor. Sitting around doesn't do equipment any favors.
