2-88 CONFUSED
Transmission and differential should use hydraulic oil. You will check this on the right side of the PTO shaft, there should be 2 female hex plugs. Oil should run out of the top one. 1550 Questions
I think that the 1650 is a better tractor just because of the transmission. The 1550 is harder to shift and noisier because it uses the spur gear transmission like the 77's. Gas engine seems as good as the 1650. You could put $2000 in the hydra power depending on what's wrong with it. Parts are...- IAFarmer
