    Another query - I want to top up the power steering fluid and none of the dealers can advise which oil to use. Looking around it should be something like M1129A or M1135 but some M1135 compatible oils are 20W which seems heavy. Any recommendations or brands? I was thinking Penrite tractor...

    Another question. I think the transmission is called reversomatic or instant reverse. The forward and reverse work ok but what does the middle pedal do?

    The generator has been replaced by an alternator. As it turns out one of those unknown switches turns on the supply to the regulator. I'm guessing the key stopped working for the charge circuit but still operates the solenoid so they put in a separate switch.

    Thanks everyone. That was my other guess. OK, 4 speeds but we need to be in neutral to raise the 3 point lift, right? Is there any difference between using high and low range other than speed? And no diff lock? So if bogged do you use split brakes?
