    collision

I don't know the details exactly, but here in town a small car hit a flail mower being pulled by a JD tractor down main street. Messed the car up bad, driver front corner. The mower looked to be about 12' wide at least and it was about dusk too.

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

the oil was being very hot. At the point when it stoped pushing good i probed the shuttle and it pegged 280 F gauge. Decided to change the converter. Spent 2 days trying to get the shuttle out and now i'm stuck. The shuttle wont come back because it hits the pipe that is part of the undercarage...

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

My dad was running it today and he said he could hear what sounded like the torque convert noise. after about an hour or so it get hot enough the that torque started leaking oil around the input seal and smoking, but the gauge was still well within the green. I'm going to put a new gauge on it...

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

Oil doesn't seem foamy to me. No collapsed cooler hosees. Blew out with shop air. Engine temp settles around 180 and tranny will climb to top of green band. Seemed to push decent cold and get worse warm.

nutty thanks for the upload. The pressure values are the same in fwd neutral and reverse. Pressures are within spec like 110 psi before you get it hot. Then when its hot it maxes like 90 or so.. i dont see a 20 psi difference causing it to be as weak as it was. Checked out the converter check...

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

As kind of an update. i drained the fluid from the shuttle and refilled with the correct stuff + ~ 1 quart of the mineral 90 for the final. The results (in my brothers words) it has more power now but no more pressure. Would anyone else say probably a tq converter is needed?

not sure if Nutty forgot about me or not but do those numbers sound correct for the pressures in normal operating condition. We rechecked the numbers with a 200PSI gauge and they were still the same. I remember reading somewhere about you are suppse to unhook some valve and possibly use a...

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

my brother just tested the pressure by slaving in an 80 psi oil pressure gauge in place of the factory gauge. his results are as follows. He put the final in neutral. Shuttle in gear and ran the engine at rated speed for a while. after the tranny temp was up almost touching the red on the gauge...

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

thanks i'll check the pressure later the factory psi gauge doesn't do anything. Do the models without the removable oil pan on the shuttle have a filter on the inlet of the pump, or is the little cylindrical one when you take the line and fitting out on the R/H it?

    case 350 crawler shuttle issues

I just bought my first dozer. its a case 350 crawler loader or atleast i think it is sn3033106 which one website told me was for a 310. Anyway my issue is that when got it it ran pretty good and after about an hour it started to loose power from the tranny like you would put it in gear at full...
