    It is a OEM 6V pos to ground, but it was wired incorrectly for a short period of time before I caught it. It is now wired with the pos to ground. Should I switch this to a 12v system? Thanks for the help, i'm new to tractor ownership and maintenance.

    6 volt system and I just started it and it ran great. As soon as I turn it off straight to -30. I"ve been unhooking the battery after every use, but I don"t think this is a great workaround.
