    Powr Trol Problems remote cylinder

    I have a 1951 John Deere B with Powr Trol and the remote cylinder will not retracted. Put the cylinder on my Oliver 880 and the cylinder works fine. I"ve pulled out the plugs ok. check valves ok.as far as I can tell. took the top cover off by removing the seat. Not sure but looks ok. full of...

    Ya know the more I look at that, the more I'm not so sure about it. But even if they WERE off a little bit, unless the holes were way off, would that hurt any? I know it wouldn't work if it made the beams out of parallel, but it would have to be off a lot to do that wouldn't it? Just...

    I'm thinking you can't lay the bars in front of one another to tell if they are the same. Lay them edge to edge and I think they will be identical. It has to do with the angles and the distance to centerline. Irv

    That's some mighty lonesome looking country out there. Can you imagine being an old mountain man out there with nothing but what you can carry on a horse, bunking out somewhere under a tree and trying to stay warm......gives me the shivers just to think about it!!!! Irv

    By the way, what plug are you trying to get out. Is it on a Fergie? I've got a 20, 30, mf35, and a 40, so if it's one of those I could figure out what you need. Irv

    Measure the diameter you need if you can. Don't they put those plug in some of the darndest places!!! I'd bet the engineer that put it there never had to take it out :D

    Wow, is that beautiful. It doesn't look like a 300 foot dropoff keeps the farmers from trying to get in that last row just like they do here. :D I reckon there's just a wee bit of wind up there, too. What a gorgeous place!!

    I don't post much but was looking at the bosses on the trumpet of s19438's tractor so I looked at some photos of mine and ,yep, mines got them too. I never knew they were there. I had another photo that shows another thing on mine that looks aftermarket, something to keep the hood from rattling...
