    JD B weight

I would say that you would be closer to 8500 for both. I have a 46 B (early styled) with pressed wheels no fluid or wheel weight and it weighs 3850. The late B with cast centers will be heavier, if both have fluid you could be pushing 10,000

There"s a man on this site by the name of Jack Beck. He"s in the Omaha, Nebraska area. I have gotten parts from him. Very knowledgable and reasonable on prices.

    1931 GP Beaner

I had a eary 29 GP that had a main case date stamp of 32. After looking at other part numbers I had one final drive that was a later part number as well. My tag was missing to. I would guess that at some point the main case was changed and the tag was never swaped over. Are the holes for the...

John deere gp Ensign rebuild help

The Ensign BJ-1 is a very fussy carb. Air leaks are the biggest culprit. Most gasket kits sold for it have the wrong thickness bowl gasket. This normally will allow gas to just pour into the cylinders. Because is doesn't allow the needle to seat. The jets adjust opposite from what you would...

    520 value

I sold a 520 at John Deere Fall Fest in 2012. No 3pt or fenders, single hydrolics, narrow front, rebuilt water pump, new manifolds, new 3 rib front tires, matched rears with 75% tread no weather checking. New grill screens converted to 12v and power steering was rebuilt 5 yrs before I got it...

    Engine Truck

I am looking for truck parts or a replica truck for a 1926 John Deere Model E 1 1/2. I see I can buy kits to put one together on e-bay, but does anyone make one that looks like an original. I am leaning towards the e-bays kits as I don"t want to decieve anyone if I resell it. Its just to...

    John Deere 1 B

I bought a 1B corn sheller today for my son to use to de-husk walnuts. I had been watching auctions all summer hoping one would pop up. Finally one came up today and only 20 miles away and figured for as long as I had been looking and so close I was going to own it. Well I"m sure I paid to...

    Which corn?

Never trust a salesman. Talk to an agonimist. I go to my local coop and review data from their test plot / field day with the resident agronomy guy and go from there. They have all the soil maps and can help point you in the right direction. They have the best side by side comparisons of any...
