    Kohler K141

Thanks for the info Joe. Using that part number in a search, it brought up a K181 parts list on Jack s engine site. Although NLA, it showed the A234598 flywheel as a replacement. The A234598 number brought up 0 results on e-bay. At least I now have a part number to work with. ----- John

    Kohler K141

I have a good K181 engine, that I could rob the flywheel and starter off of. I have not been able to prove one way, or the other, if it will work on a K141. I have read rumors, that the K181 & K161 flywheels "Might" interchange with the K141 flywheel. I thought maybe if I could get the K141...

    Kohler K141

Can anybody tell me the part number for the electric start flywheel on a Kohler K141 (6.25hp) engine?? In my case, the engine was made in 1964, but I am guessing that any year K141 with electric start would be the same. ---- John

    Kohler Dying... Part 3

I had a CC 100 with a k-241 engine. Had the same problem. I would travel downhill through my neighbors field to visit with him. Upon returning home, the engine would want to quit within a few feet of the same spot, at the edge of my back yard. This happened on every trip to my neighbor. Thought...

    Sears 10xl engine

Does your 10XL have a belt driven Starter/Generator, or does it have a bendix type starter?? I have an orange shroud from a 1971 10XL parts tractor. Prior to that, the 10XL s had a starter/ generator, and the shroud was a bit different. --- John

    HF Duel PTO Conversion

Yes, the two main applications for the double PTO shaft engines, seem to be on many of the older snow blowers and tillers. I built my original prototype for the HF 6.5 hp 212cc Predator engine, because it is a popular replacement for the old single shaft Tecumsehs. I wanted to see if I could...

    HF Duel PTO Conversion

This 11 horsepower, HF Predator engine, is going to replace the duel shaft Tecumseh H-60 engine, on a 1974 3 stage American Lincoln snow blower. Just thought my conversion might be of some interest. It consisted of an H-60 side cover, camshaft and crankshaft gear,(all modified). Additional...

    Lathe repower

Not sure if this will be of much help. I put a 1 hp treadmill motor on my band saw, about 18 years ago. Found the treadmill junked on the side of the road. All the wiring had been cut. Got lucky, and ran into someone who knew something about DC wiring. Ended up using a Claro-stat 73JA 100K ohm...
