    Seal at rear of UTS fan assembly

    The fan assembly on my UTS has been throwing a bit of grease out the back - nothing serious but makes a bit of a mess. Pulled it apart and found the felt seal. Is there any way of getting this out with out mangling it? The rear bearing shell is still in there and can't see how to remove it...

    Thanks, David. All makes sense. Just had a look at the parts book and can see them there (didn"t have it with me when I posted). It was used in forestry work - they probably got ripped off years ago.

    I have a 604 diesel here in Australia. A rare beast - I don't know of any others. Were there two types of front axles used ? Mine appears to have an Eaton diff and no boots. I assume it isn't a Coleman.
