    Non-Running Allis Chalmers G

    What is a Allis Chalmers G worth approx. Currently not running but ran when it was put in the shed. Needs new tires on back no attachments. What if I got it running? Just don't know if I have the time.

    I tested with manual gauge. It was 44psi at 1500 cold at full ot dropped a little but still over 40. At a warm Idle it was 32 Thoughts?

    checked the oil pressure and I was at 45 + at 1500rpm at a hot idle it was at 34.

    Update. I checked oil pressure with a gauge and I had 44 psi at1500 cold and at a warm idle I had 34psi. Thoughts?

    You are saying get a oil pressure tester on it then start it to test pressure. That is my plan later today.

    It must have been almost empty as it took probably 12 quarts and I know the capacity is 14 I think when I changed it in May. The oil must be going somewhere as it shouldn't have burned that much correct? I know we screwed up just looking to see my next steps.

    Thank for your help! I got it to work. I was getting 12 volts when I put negative on side rail. I grounded the monitor to tractor and positive to starter and it worked last night. Thanks again I appreciate it, Joe

    I have 6.4 volts at one battery and 6.3 volts at the other battery. I have 6.4 at starter. Thanks for any help
