Correctness police will have a cow!

Going to repaint the black next winter. Rims and centers are going to be silver. Went with green because it seems like ANYTHING painted silver either fades quickly or peels off. This tractor is going to replace the 1550, but am thinking of hanging onto it now for a backup.

    550 exhaust

It's an issue with the Stanley muffler. Had the same problem with my Super 55. The inlet is shorter that the Nelson muffler. I made a spacer tube at work to take even things out.

Impatiently waiting for the new toy!

Just looked at the pictures and it's not going to work unfortunately. I need exactly the same side plates and front mount that you have on your 2-85. Looked on the Agco parts book site and not sure what your mounts fit. Maybe a Farmall or International? Thanks much for your effort though!

Impatiently waiting for the new toy!

Just got the kids to bed so I had a chance to look on Agcopartsbook.com. I'm thinking what you have would be for a 2-50 or 2-60. Mounts for a 2-70, 2-85, & 2-105 are the same.

Impatiently waiting for the new toy!

Where are you located? I'm in central Wisconsin. I'm interested in what you may have. I need the front mount and the side straps that bolt the rear center piece to the frame. Would have sent you an email, but I can't quite figure this out yet! My email is jake ratsch @ yahoo . com (no spaces)...

Impatiently waiting for the new toy!

Here's a picture of the 2-70 on the lot yet, hopefully this weekend it comes home. Also is a picture of the front weight casting, the reason why the Oliver front loader bracket won't work.

Impatiently waiting for the new toy!

The front mount is different because the grill hangs over and down the front of the frame a few inches and White bolts a weight bracket casting to where the bracket attaches on the 1550. The side straps also mount about 1 bole hole ahead of where it does on the Oliver too.

Impatiently waiting for the new toy!

We did it last week. The trusty old 1550 gas is going to be replaced with a 1976 White 2-70 diesel. Only downside is now I have to find new mounts for the White 1730 QA loader that was on the 1550 to get it on the 2-70. Not so sure what we're going to do with the Oliver yet, but can't wait for...

    Common Courtesy

Earlier tonight I was looking though one of the other color forums and I was really kinda proud of the Oliver side. I was almost shocked with the responses to a simple question. Quite a few of the answers bordered on being down right hostile and mixed with political banter that had nothing to do...

    oliver 990 factory muffler

I work for Nelson Global Products (formerly Nelson a long time ago!) and have been following this and spent lots of time on our online catalog at home and old print catalogs when I have the time at work trying to find this. As far as I can tell it's probably been obsoleted, BUT it you have the...

OK Math Problem/ Concrete Figuring HELP!!!!

I ended up with a completely different number, 4.65 cubic yards. Using the formula pi(3.142) x r squared(5.5 x 5.5=30.25) height(4) for the outer cylinder I got 380.182 cubic feet. Now do the same with the inner cylinder 3.142 x 20.25(4.5x4.5) x 4=254.502. Now subtract the inner from the...

    Identify

Wasn't there kind of an odd duck White 700 that was Fiat built, but only sold in Canada? I've never seen one in person, only in pictures. Looks like one of those.

    American Restoration Pedal Tractor Job

Watching American Restoration on the History channel and nearly fell out of my chair. A guy brought in an International 856 pedal tractor and wagon. Needs a new steering wheel, paint, and decals. They quoted him $2800 and he went with it! When I did my JD 4240 style pedal tractor a few years ago...
