    Hydraulic pipe??

    Anyone use galvanized pipe or black iron pipe for hydraulics? I have some hydraulic hose her but it's a bit short so I was thinking maybe run a pipe from the elbow coming out the tractor to the rear end then hose from there. What do you think.

    Any one here know of any thing to beef up a 4000 3cyl diesel or gas for farm stock pulling? The deere here in Alabama have stoped me from Truck Farming, so i want to pull.     FRONT TIRES

    I have a 57 641 that needs front tires (one blew out) it had three rib on it but was thinking of putting truck tires on. I can't find used three rib and new ones are expensive. I was wondering how well this would work and what size I would need, the rib tires are 6 x 16. THANKS for the help

    My farm is all in one place, all I will do is go from field to field or pasture to pasture. never will be on a road. For me to be in 5th gear I would have to go on a tractor ride.

    I ask him about that, he looked it up in the parts book and said the rear end parts are the same. What he is saying is that the parts book is showing the same pinion and ring gear for the 971 as it is for 801, 901, 4000 fine spline, I do not have a parts book to check him out.
