    Technocrats try to make things too complex. Think simple folks! Just a couple of bits of wood/plastic/whatever insulator in mounts and tie standard one wire alt output to chassis ground (+) and tie alt housing to battery negative. DONE!

    For the question asked, the need for extraneous info such as voltage, what tractor and any other, does not exist! The alt could be on a car, truck, Hart-Pharr, go cart…..it would not matter. I suppose it open up room for chatter, opinions, etc.
