    I have handled tens of thousands of bales and have never broken a spear. My neighbor regularly bends his cheapo tractor supply spears but I suppose that is to be expected.

    OT Barn siding

    Steel would be my material of choice; we sided an old dairy barn with colored steel roofing 51 years ago and it still looks good. Vinyl is short lived (20-30 years), aluminum tends not to hold a finish, and any of the newer "composite" sidings each have their own issues.

    Ok, I'm in the process of swapping out the original w226 in my Tractomotive loader for a g226 power plant donor. The water pump and crank pulleys on the donor extended out well beyond what would fit so I am having to change them. Purchased a new water pump and removed the pulley sheaves and hub...

    New "third world" pump arrived yesterday. Holes in the mounting flange were a couple of millimeters shy of the necessary 7/16". :rolleyes: Hope that is all that's wrong with it!

    Most all aftermarket stuff is made somewhere in the third world; it is a crapshoot. Nearest dealer here is 2+ hours away so I generally just have them ship parts to me so, by the time they add the shipping.....

    Checked with dealer, new pump on here is actually cheaper, just ordered it.

    I've just started looking, no luck yet. I do have an original parts manual and AGCO may be able to get parts but.......... a new/rebuilt pump is only a hundred bucks on here, parts from AGCO would likely be $150.
