Looking for Ferguson or Massey Ferguson Disc Harrow bearings

Your 25 must be an early version of it then. Very early ones did use the offset mounting but the majority used the center bolt mounted. I have some NOS 25 bearings but they are the center mounted bearings. I do know of a way to fix it and keep it with 6.5" spacing but you will have to make some...

Looking for Ferguson or Massey Ferguson Disc Harrow bearings

The 22 and 25 do not use the same bearing and spools. The #25 had the bolt holes where it attaches to the frame moved to the center of the bearing whereas the 22 had the bolt holes on the side of the bearing. The #25 had an adapter plate fitted to them so they could be used with the existing...

    Ford Combine

Oddly enough after Ford bought Woods Bros. out the combined used Wisconsin motors on them. I have two of the Ford branded only combines. I figured the reason was by that time the N series was gone and it was cheaper on Ford to use the Wisconsin motors than to use the current NAA motor that was...

What type of spark plug for TO30?

So do I! But I run good quality points, copper core wires, and a quality cap and rotor! If the tractor does not get worked hard very often it would benefit more from the D21 plug because it is hotter and not a projected nose plug like the 3116 or D18Y.

What type of spark plug for TO30?

I've ran them all. The Autolite 3116. Champion D18Y and D21 and currently running AC Delco C85S. If you go to Massey they will sell you D21 Champions as replacements. I've had no problems out of any of them. The rest of the ignition system being up to par is far more critical than what brand of...

Hard time splitting axle collar on TO30

John(UK) has said several times in posts on here to never press the collar on, because it removes metal as it is being pressed into place and it will not fit as tightly as it would have if it had been heated and let it cool and shrink into place. He said they can come back off if pressed into...

    Why did the Fast-Hitch fail?

Actually that was part of the settlement that Ford had to pay Ferguson. Ford had to pay 9.75 million dollars and they could no longer use a pto driven hydraulic pump. They also could not ever use the crank style cross shaft on a plow either. There was some other things that they were not allowed...

You are supposed to adjust the draft control spring behind the seat before you adjust the quadrant. If the spring has more than around.020 clearance or you just should be able to turn the spring by hand with a plow or other heavy implement picked up. More than that then the spring needs to be...

To-20 starter turning with key off

All Ferguson TE-20's, TO-20,s, and TO-30's had the S position to crank it with the gear shifter. Look at the transmission top cover where the shifter is right beside the number 3 for third gear. It is to the right of the 3. You need to hook it back up correctly. You can leave it 12 volts and...
