    If memory serves the 1958 600B had an issue where the shifter could travel beyond the detent and cause a stuck shift rod. I believe this has occurred on mine as I'm attempting to remove the shifter and cover plate per the factory manual instructions and it seems to be hung up on the rear edge of...

    The old 830 is looking much improved without all the parts donated from other brands. As for the front my vote would be to buy those parts from John and Chris and get that wide front as it should be.....right before you take it off and put the narrow front on. That way if you change your mind...

    Well I went and done it.

    That's a heck of a fab job. Looks like a factory RH door and the added lighting is gonna pay dividends in the field. Did you notice a loss of rigidity or flex in the front cab panel now that the lower bracing is part of the RH door? Jay
