    When I can't find a set of new or good used sleeves piston and want to save the "options" available on the '54, I have no other choice but to sacrifice my '44. Its rear end's bearings are toast anyway.

    Does anyone know of a source for "O" rings for the sleeves in a '54 SC's engine? They are NOT the same as "O" rings for earlier SC engines.

    Those pistons look like they are similar to the pistons that were available for H's from Tractor Supply Company in the 1950's. Thats when TSC was really a "Tractor Supply Company". My dad used to be able to buy an engine "overhaul kit" for an H for less than $75.00 from the TSC store in Sioux...
