    950 w/yanmar diesel

    Need to know what to set the valve gap at on intake and exhaust valves. Also a good service manual with every thing in it from the ground up. (which one and where to buy it).

    H rear end

    80w-90w 6 gallons. There ia a plug on the side below the clutch pedal in that ball park. You will get just shy of 6 gallons in there and it will start to run out. You can go to farmall h .com and get your specs and a picture.

    JD 850 Wireing Diagram - Short ??

    I believe there is a diode that goes bad in the altenator. I have had it happen 2 times on different equipment. The diode is supposed to let it feed one way while it is charging the battery. I have always had to replace or have the altenator rebuilt.

    Filler spout ahead of gas tank

    On my 47 H I have a small tank for gas. The big tank was used for distillate but I use it for gas. The tank was only about a gallon or 2 used to start the tractor on gas and switch over to distillate.

    farmall h field resistor

    Cleaned up everything good and now it works. Also found some wires that were hooked up earlier this week that were wrong. Thanks for the help! This board has been a big help since I have only owned this tractor 3 months. Thanks again!

    farmall h field resistor

    According to the testing I have done, it says I have a bad field resistor on my 4 position light switch. I grounded the f terminal on the generator to the positive ground and it charges. This is still 6 volt. The local dealer does not carry a resistor but has a new switch. The new switch doesn"t...
