    Well both my other 435 and the 440 gas i am parting out have the same no hole in middle dash, so i am probably going to just use that one. Same part number too. THe stuff is in place tho to put a steering shaft in a crawler dash, the instrument panel is just different too.

    Just external blade, i forget model, manual adjustments, outside mounts. I have a 420 with same blade as well.

    Yes that is true, but its easy enough for any of us to inventory tractors going to shows, knowing other collectors, marking down ones sold at auction etc.

    Well the dash i am looking at using is off 440 gas, with no hole, and it seems 440 should all have same dash i would think. I'll do some more research. But my other 435 has dash with no hole, and has tag in spot above just like the others.

    What is everyone else using to preserve original paint tractors, i have used linseed oil in the past, any other good mixes or suggestions out there?

    best ways to clean out fertilizer drums

    I use some old farmall planters/side dressers. What is best way everyone finds to keep fertilizer drums in good shape. I have high pressured mine, used salt ex, grease/oil on surface, repainted them, rust proof paint etc.

    What is everyone's takes, should possibly the Green magazine or Two Cylinder club possibly start a registry of the rare Deere tractors so we can see survival rate, maybe see how many more are still out there, etc. I think it would be good and interesting benefit to do that?
