    The way things are today I guess thats pretty good, I paid $250 for this Massey Ferguson 35 set back in 2003, the pic you show they look pretty heavy, and theyre not gonna get any cheaper with the dollar being so worthless.

    My 346 still has the old triangular plastic collar on it, if something happened to it Im sure I could take the shaft off the haybine and put it on there I would think it would fit not sure though I ended up losing my new Holland Haybine PTO shaft with the round collar on it so now I just use NH...

    I struggled back in the 1990s with a avco new idea 272, pull the I think it had 4 rods, sharpen the paddles, but that thing just tore the hay, After cutting our field with that, It took about three weeks longer than the neighbors field to green up, he had a haybine, ours left 8 or more inches...

    Yes my Baler is in the same age bracket as his, I bet if you go to John Deere and look at a brand new baler! I guarantee you its made the same way? You really think they change square baler models every year like they do cars in trucks?

    Bruce, I have a New Holland 489 I dont know anything about any rubber bushings on the end of the knife can you explain, Maybe his models is different, but if I can learn something that would be good.
