Is this TO-30 wiring correct??
OK, great to hear from everybody. It is a Delco alternator with BAT on backside lower left. The R F connection is a push-in rectangular connector located on backside outer rim top left. 12 volt system Wire going to lights (one wire,not two) is connected to ground behind starter. Is this TO-30 wiring correct??
I"ve had this TO-30 for a few years-bought it off a farmer that had rewired it. Always been suspicious but just getting around to putting it on paper. Can someone confirm this wiring? I can"t figure why the lights are grounded like they are,etc. Please disregard tripicates-they are all the same.- JayP

TO 30 overheating
John, Just finished up on the brake job and seals-working great. Have some other problems. Rebuilt carb (full of junk and float sticking up. Now I need correct jet settings. float is now sticking open (I suspect sediment) and will have to remove again to clean. 2. The tractor runs well until...- JayP

which manual is best
I"ve managed to get by on the site/forum info but now I have leaky axles. I believe it is time for a manual. I"ve seen "shop manuals", service, etc. Which one is best. I"m not concerned so much about the cost as I am getting a dud. By the way, my axles didn"t leak until I overfilled with gear...- JayP
