    MF 35 Utility PTO Lever

look at the end of the shaft where it goes through the lever. If it has migrated inward (broken pin) the inside lever will not be engaging the detents. The detent pin if I remember right is spring loaded and possibly it may be stuck. I made a lever for mine a couple of months ago. As long your...

    MF 35 Hydraulics

Your right when you say longer and more expensive to do that way. When I fixed mine recently I went with the new style. Mill time was expensive when I needed a lathe that would accept 3 3/8" stock. I had already lost too much time getting the repair done and needed the machine. But if you decide...

    MF 35 Hydraulics

Best answer is to mill lower piston ring groove to accept a .250 O-ring. That was Massey's fix but was never put into production. It was in an old service bulletin. You would have the 2 cast upper rings and the O-ring. They didn't use the Teflon wear ring at that time but I don't see why...

    MF32 Loader control valve

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get the parts to rebuild my loader control valve. I am not even finding rebuilds. Does anyone know of a aftermarket replacement? The return to tank is built in as part of the valve mounting plate. My control valve part number is 708582M91.

    MF40/40B hydraulic parts

There are only 3 places to adjust. I came up with the nuday bushing dia by measuring several pics of the assembled tool and came up with .375 ID and 1.0 OD on bushing. when I was done all lever positions for function were in spec. I did not have to move quadrants. :) Just think I have a bad...

    MF40/40B hydraulic parts

This is the early version of the 40B hitch cover and linkages. Also an easy solution If you do not have the spring scale for set up. A ladder pulley and the 3lb weight. The rigging was very easy once you have the special tooling. I don't know how u could be even close without it. While I am...

    MF40/40B hydraulic parts

I need a 1661427M91 mounting block assembly to convert my older MKIII pump to accept a cartridge style relief valve. Does anyone out there have one they would be willing to part with? I know there are those of you out there with the experience and knowledge to help me get this unusual girl back...

MF40/40B Internal Hydraulics-No dashpots- Final adjustments

I could use some input and was wondering if anyone has experience with this system. New post as I realized we were comparing apples with oranges. I spoke with the original owner and this tractor was equipped this way from the factory. He had hired someone to fix this many years ago (not a Massey...

    MF 135 hydraulic controls

The dashpots were removed when they added the slide valve on the side of the rear casting of the pump to control response rate. It still works basically the same way. (relieving pressure in the intake gallery to allow the control valve in the pump to move to the discharge position). Although it...
