    how rare are f40 Fergusons

Yep, my paternal Grandfather is 106 and still doing great! He retired as a welder the year I was born. (1976) All I ever knew him as was a farmer. Sweet corn and soybeans. South Jersey. He took my grandmother on their first date to see the still smoldering Hindenburg! Here he is with a...

    how rare are f40 Fergusons

I see they only made them in 1956 and 1957. Interesting. I've seen 3 or 4 around here at auctions. Took a quick pic of my Grandfathers 40 a couple weeks ago. He's 106 now and is thinning the herd.

Best of show at Geauga County Fair this year

Agreed on the color! Maybe he was going for more of a "Ohio State Buckeye" theme? Looks like nice work, regardless of shade of gray. Sold mine this last weekend.

    Fake message

I'm trying to sell a 1954 NAA on Farkbook. After that, I'm getting rid of it. It used to be an easy way to communicate while away/deployed. Now it's all ads.

    1952 Ford 8N lift arms won't lift.

The cotter keys are on the belly, correct? Those are for drainage of contaminants. Someone more knowledgeable than I should be along, but on an 8N all 3 sumps (Hydraulic, Trans, Diff) should be common sump. You don't have oil coming out of the fill port on the back of the axle, do you...

    Uncles Golden

Most of the info I needed for my NAA came from the N forums. It's very similar to troubleshoot. Most like a late 8N. I don't think there is anything new to learn. My $500 tractor that was seized runs great due to this place.

Spring work done. Now to the GROUNDHOGS!

Stumbled acrossed this breed after we lost an old lab. Best squirrel dog we've ever had! Good mannerisms as well.

    Pete's MD,

Sad to see that video indeed.:( I watched the entire rebuild over last winter when time and weather allows. Seem to remember some question about the source of the springs, but not sure what Pete decided to do. I'd guess it's on the back burner for market season. I really appreciate the...

    Value of 8N with loader

Not necessarily specific to an 8N, but I've seen 8Ns and NAAs going for 2500 to 3000 locally. Attachments add depending on what it is. Saw some listed that were rough, rusty and didn't run listed for $2000 Some have been shooting for the stars. Like 4500 for an NAA with brush hog.

It takes several posts to be able to link to stuff and add pictures. That may be your posting issue.

    Rotary Mower Advice Needed

I passed on every mower I saw today. Just enough questionable stuff to shy away. Mower I was going to bid on was a King Kutter with no PTO Shaft. Went for $375. Did get a 2 bottom David Bradley plow cheap enough. $50 Oh, and a Case IH 640 Combine, but that wasn't for me. Had a buddy...

    Rotary Mower Advice Needed

I'll check it out, thanks! I've got several good buddies near/in Dresden. You must be fairly local to find all this stuff and know about Rogers Auction.

    Rotary Mower Advice Needed

Yep! That's 15 miles north of my house, and I've been there several times. Good folks, indeed! Within a couple miles of a buddys house, Met a couple members of the auctioneers family. Strange small world.
