    Printer Question

I vote for a HP laser printer. I have 4 with no problems. They have a large selection of machines. Ink jet printers are dinosaurs and no matter what make, you're going to have problems.

    Painting

Well, if you want to know it all, - it could fill a high school shop course. Most of the time videos miss a few critical details which ruins the job. What's your goal, - a parade or working tractor, - or - a show tractor? It's not rocket science but the basics include proper preparation...

What is the easiest way to clean out the airfilter assembly on a two-cylinder John Deere?

You could dunk it in a bucket or large drain pan of mineral spirits, agitate it a few times and let it sit for a couple days. The mineral spirits has a "protective effect" so I wouldn't worry about rust.

    Paint / Rust Removal

How big are your parts? A media blasting cabinet is for smaller items. For larger parts like cast housings and tinwork, you need a sandblaster setup using a sand media or Black Magic. If you're doing rusty parts you need an aggressive media and enough air to power the equipment. Chemical...

5320 Hour Meter Flashing All 8s

The instrument panel may need a reboot. I don't know that procedure. Have you talked to someone in service at John Deere?

    JD dealer paint

John Deere paint is good quality. My guess is, if you do a nice job of preparation the tractor will look better than when it left the factory.

NEED HELP, NEW PROJECT (NOT A TRACTOR) - 110 year old Barn Find Studebaker

You have a big project there but lesser quality finds have been restored. Do your research up front and document every bolt and nut you remove. I like it it. Good luck.

    Diesel biocide

I have used Bio Kleen with good success. Another thing to consider is controlling moisture in the tank. Algae cannot grow without moisture. Moisture is especially a problem with above-ground tanks. I have bottom drains in my fuel tanks which allows a drain-off of water. There is also a compound...

    Deere 2155 battery light problem

Check your grounds in all areas. Gremlins always rear their ugly heads with poor grounds.

Broken Crossmember to Reverser Bolt - John Deere 350 Dozer - How to Fix?

I would be anxious to fix it and it seems the best way is to remove the cross member. I know this is extra work but it may be the surest way to get the stub out. You would be able to soak the stub with Liquid Wrench or equivalent, get a grip on the stub and heat it from the backside.

I am stumped on this one.

It's a handy bung wrench. It's used to remove and replace various bungs and plugs in tanks and drums. Don't throw it away. You'll need one some day.

    Hydro-sonic cleaner

We need to know the tractor make and model. If the transmission is also the sump for the hydraulics, then I would be skeptical of just cleaning it. Read the owner's and tech manual about this.

    sprayer pumps

A centifugal pump is far better if you want a consistently high volume of water. Roller pumps or for that matter, any positive displacement pump has a peak volume delivery spec which becomes a nuisance in the real world. Also more moving parts.
