    Davenport Tractor

I came across an older product catalog for Davenport Tractor. I cannot seem to get any more info as to contact and order details. Is anyone aware if they are still in business or not?

    Gravely Carbs

I have 2 model L gravely both early 50's I think. One has an aluminum Zenith Carb on it. The other one has no carb attached but got 2 with the machines. One is a Zenith B-2 and the other a Zenith B-11. Which one belongs and what does the other one fit if they are not interchangeable? Thanks

    Trailer size

It's an unsyled A with no extra weights or fluids. It's just a show-parade tractor; way too slow for drives. I guess for the price difference a better choice would be the 18' trailer. Thanks for your info

    Trailer size

Looking for answer for one question and opinions on a second . First-are the dimensions listed for a 16' trailer the length of the bed only or the length from tongue ending to back edge of trailer. Secondly- Is a 16' trailer adequate to transport a John Deere A tractor or should one go larger.

New pistons and sleeves too tight for starter to turn

OK got a little more info. Only new parts were the sleeves, pistons, rings and gasket set. Ran some of the answers by him and said ring gaps were ok as the pistons moved fine until corrected to the shaft. did not plastigauge anything but going to take back apart and try that. Thinks a couple...

New pistons and sleeves too tight for starter to turn

Have a friend who purchased a 1961 AC gas (not sure of model). It had one cylinder stuck when he got it. He removed the sleeves and pistons and ordered a new set. When replacing them cylinder # 1 was fine but as he got # 2 in was very hard to move and when 3 and 4 were put in it was so tight you...

    Super H questions

Have noticed in some pictures of the Super H's that most have the IH emblem on the front of tractor but have seen a few with the emblem that just says Farmall like on the older letter series tractors. Did they come out with both emblems or only the IH type with the other not being correct for...

    Re: Guillian Barre Syndrome (Long)

You are very fortunate. My sister was diagnosed with Guillain Barre several years ago. It took the MD's at Vanderbilt to finally arrive at the diagnosis and they were within hours of putting her on a ventilator. After several more weeks in the hospital and months in a rehab center she can now...

    Super H

Have a friend looking at a Super H for a purchase. It has a small leak of what he assumes to be gear oil coming from the lever that activates the belt pulley. How involved is the fix for this issue. Thanks

    Gas flow valve

I am having some gas seep by my cutoff valve on my 1936 A. It is the 1/4 turn type. My question is when I unscrew the valve from the top of the sediment bowl it does not seem to want to come out so is there something I have to remove on the inside to remove it. I have been fooling with it...

Kentucky guys- have any of you been to the show and swap meet at Rooster Run or the Licking Valley show at Alexandria? Thought I might make one this Saturday and wanted some input as to what each has to offer.
