    Tractor is diesel. She told me that the batteries were 6 volt. I have not opened the battery boxes myself, but will do so tomorrow. If the tractor came from the factory with 2 12 volt batteries, then I am pretty sure that it is still that way. I can't imagine that someone would go through...

    I am trying to make some steel "L" brackets. They are 10"x16" made from 3"x1/2" steel flatstock. I clamp the parts in a jig to hold them square, but when I get the welds done they are no longer square. They are pulled in a couple of degrees. I am using 7018 rods with the welder set at 115...

    Farmall A transmission and final drive oil

    I need to change the oil in the transmission and final drives of my Farmall A. The manual calls for SAE 90 oil. My local TSC sells 85W-90 gear oil, but not straight SAE90. Will the 85W-90 be OK? Thanks
