    Tedding question

    We usually wait 24 hours to tedd after mowing with the disk mower. We want the hay to dry somewhat so that when we tedd it kinks the hay.

    Single. The only thing this tractor used the hydraulics for was the dump wagon. I don't the he used it on the grinder but at his age he might have switched it to dual. I am going to hook it to the haybine and see what happens.

    Thanks for the info. The general rule for us is no tractors to feed in mud as we feed with a 4 wheeler which is why we use small bales. This tractor is a row crop and the heaviest bales weigh 450 most weigh 400. In a perfect world I would put a loader on our MF 1233 and all would be great...

    Farmall 340

    I am going to an auction on Saturday that has a 340 with loader for sale. What are the pros and cons of this tractor? I will use it as a Tedder/rake, move 450 lb round bales and general odd jobs. Repairs are not a problem as we have a lot of mechanics in the area if I can't fix it.

    Seed Drill Recommendations

    Brilliant is the best with tillage, IH 5100 has been the best 10-12 ft with tillage (disk and rototiller) after that with a no till I like the 1590. We have a hard time as we plant weird varieties to all the dairy and beef farmers and have to find the proper rates to plant.
