Thanks, Dell, but let me repeat: THE TRACTOR RUNS FINE, EVEN WHEN COLD. With all it's minor discrepancies, I'm surprised it runs as well as it does. Thanks for all the great advice! I was actually thinking along the same lines...Why fix it if ain't broke? The tractor starts & runs fine even when cold. It's a front mount distributor, already converted to 12V, using the tried & true Delco 10SI I remember from yesteryear. The points are...- jdaughhotmail.com
