8n no spark/missing connection?
8n front mount distributor, 6v converted to 12v. Square coil- There seems to be a connection missing on my tractor. What kind of connection goes from the condensor screw to the points? It looks like something was once there and is missing, and I am not getting any spark.- JDBrammer

How to attach the coil to the distributor cap for 8N Ford
That's what I'm going to do- the square coil. Didn't realize I had the wrong coil paired with the wrong cap- this has helped me figure that out.- JDBrammer

Got a new distributor cap but it doesn"t look like the one that was on my Ford 8n when I bought it. Think someone rigged it.
